Nestled in the heart of the Hocking Hills region of southeast Ohio is a dining, lodging and relaxation gem. The Inn & Spa at Cedar Falls truly brings the best of both worlds with the surrounding natural wonders and rustic charm mixed with fine dining and glamorous spaces to relax.
Hocking Hills has some of the most incredible landscape in all of Ohio with recess caves, rushing streams, waterfalls and thick groves of coniferous trees. A must see for those who love to embrace natural landscape in any of the seasons. One of the best secrets of Hocking Hills is that every season is a different experience. Winter brings giant icicles and Summer allows you to enjoy long hikes, canoe trips, and zip lining.
Quick Tip: When looking for the perfect cabin, Hocking Hills has some of the best options in the midwest for cabins to rent for friends and family. You can often find lodging isolated enough for privacy with pools, hot tubs and other on property amenities.

Three Best Things About The Inn & Spa at Cedar Falls
The Food – We actually found the Inn for the first time when visiting the area on a last minute visit. We had just visited Cedar Falls and done some hiking and decided to see if they served lunch at the Inn Restaurant. When we walked into Kindred Spirits for the first time, we were immediately taken by the charming space of the bar area.
I still remember the warm brownie with a side of ice cream that was so amazing, that we decided to schedule dinner reservations for the following evening.
Every meal since then we have had at Kindred Spirits, whether breakfast, lunch, or dinner, has been a delightful and unique dining experience.
Quick Note: Many lodging options include breakfast with the cost of lodging. It’s a great breakfast with lots of fresh options.
Pro Tip: with some notice, they offer an option to put together a packed lunch for day hikers.
The Charming Lodgings
Certainly when you first walk into the main buildings of the The Inn, whether the lobby store or the main restaurant, you get a sense for an experience that fits in with the cabin country that exists throughout the Hocking Hills region. That said, the Inn & Spa at Cedar Falls has expanded through the years with a wide variety of lodging options.
As expected in Hocking Hills, you have several great large and small cabin options on property in addition to hotel rooms. The cabins are perfect for couples or a small group of friends.
The newest additions over the last several years are Yurts and Geodomes. Both of these options offer Glamping in style with the comforts you would expect from the hotel rooms or cabins, but with the unique aesthetics and appeal offered by these two options. They all have air conditioning, heating, full bathrooms, and a kitchenette.
We recently experienced one night in one of their Yurts and had a fantastic time!
